Global Tech Experience
Salisbury University students now have the opportunity to learn about technology on a global scale without having to leave the Eastern Shore of Maryland through the University’s new partnership with Global Tech.
The six-credit, sophomore-level, interdisciplinary IDIS 280-151 course allows students to learn about technology and how it can be adjusted to better fit different geographical areas and cultures. Based in Washington, D.C., Global Tech hosts online courses live with faculty, as well as asynchronous work.
Students may choose from four tracks: global digital marketing, global data analytics, global coding for data or global coding for the web. Upon completion of each track in The Global Tech Experience, students earn 3 skill badges they can include on their LinkedIn profile and resume.
