SU Dining Services Named Among Top Programs in U.S.
Salisbury University Dining Services is among the top collegiate dining programs in the nation, according to a recent survey by the National Association of College and University Food Service (NACUFS), which includes 484 member institutions. We offer a variety of meal plans to suit your individual dining needs. Each includes dining at the Commons, Dining Dollars to be used at other on-campus locations and guest passes.
Multiple Dining Plans
We offer a variety of meal plans for an all-you–care-to eat experience at the Commons all of which include Dining Dollars that may be spent at any on campus dining locations including Sea Gull Stadium. Our diverse offerings feature traditional choices, ethnic and international cuisine, and an abundance of vegetarian, low-fat and gluten-free options. (Yup, we even serve breakfast all day!) Our staff dietitian can discuss your personal needs with you individually.
Special Events in the Commons
UDS features events each week throughout the semester in the Commons. These events are offered in addition to normal fare and include distinctive foods, fun and entertainment. Past events included Taste of the Chesapeake Dinner, Hispanic Heritage Month Dinner and Oktoberfest Dinner.
Numerous Dining Locations
When you have the need to feed, there’s always a place to grab a bite wherever you are on campus! The Commons is your main dining hall where you can use your meal swipes. From Cool Beans Café, to multiple quick serve dining sites in Henson and Conway Halls, you can grab a quick snack before heading to class. Perdue Pizzeria will make you a fresh made to order pizza for a quick meal. We also have Chick-fil-A and Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company right on campus!
It's your dining program we want to hear from you
SU values communication and feedback! Students can let us know how we're doing via social media including Twitter and Instagram, a “Text ’n’ Tell” web-based blog that provides real-time feedback, and the UDS website. Services like “text and tell” provides real-time feedback on the dining experience. Diners are able to send a text rating the quality of food, service and overall dining experience, and make suggestions on the spot without ever leaving, and feedback/responses from UDS management displayed prominently on a digital monitor in the Rotunda.
