There are many options for transfer to SU, so you can find the perfect fit to continue your education, whether you are studying business administration or social work. SU offers several programs in cooperation with Delaware Tech.

Business Programs
At SU's Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, you have the opportunity to study at one of the best business schools in the world! Perdue has worked diligently to obtain and maintain its accreditation by the AACSB International, enabling us to offer you an outstanding business education. Our academic programs reflect the highest standards of business education with an emphasis on the entrepreneurial spirit, teamwork and friendly, community-outreach experiences. You will graduate with a leadership drive to succeed and ethically serve business, government and the community.

Delaware Tech students can complete the Associate Degree Program in Business Administration Transfer for entrance into one of SU’s baccalaureate business programs. SU offers the following bachelor's programs for transfer (click on each to see the articulation agreement):

Early Childhood & Elementary Education
Delaware Tech students may complete the Associate Degree Program in Elementary Education to enter one of SU’s Bachelor of Science degree programs (click on each to see the articulation agreement):

Earth Science

Delaware Tech students may complete the Associate Degree Program in Environmental Engineering Technology to enroll in SU’s Bachelor of Science program in earth science. You will be automatically accepted into the baccalaureate program at SU as long as you have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0. You must also complete Delaware Tech courses with a grade of C or better to receive credits for transfer.

In addition to a general track, SU’s earth science program also offers tracks in geoenvironmental science, marine geosciences and secondary education.
Medical Laboratory Science
Delaware Tech students can complete the associate degree program in medical laboratory technology to seek admission into SU’s baccalaureate program in medical laboratory science. You will be granted automatic admission into SU’s program as long as you:
- are admitted into the University
- have an overall GPA of at least 3.0
- apply for admission to the SU program upon completion of your third semester of the Delaware Tech program
- pass the medical laboratory technician examination given by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
Students who have not yet passed the ASCP exam or have a GPA lower than 3.0 will not receive automatic admission but will still be considered. You must earn at least a C in articulated courses for the credits to be accepted for transfer.

Social Work

Our social work program prepares you for the real world with both hands-on classroom study and practical field experience. You have more opportunities to learn job skills with field experience at area social agencies. Our program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, a must for earning licensure.

Delaware Tech students may complete the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services Transfer Program to enroll in SU’s Bachelor of Arts in Social Work Program. You will be admitted into the SU program as long as you complete the associate program with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 and are admitted to SU through the regular admission process.
