Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Wicomico County and Surrounding Areas December 5
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Wicomico County and surrounding areas from 1 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, December 5. Snow accumulation up to an inch and a half is forecast. Snow is expected mainly after 5 a.m., interspersed with periods of rain later in the day. At this time, campus is expected to remain open. Partnerships Between SSO and the Community
SSO proudly offers complimentary concert tickets to non-profit organizations to assist in their fundraising activities.
Free Post-Concert Receptions allow the community to meet our Conductor, Concertmaster and Guest Soloists.
Area students are offered $5 ticket admission to all SSO concerts (unless there is a premium ticketed event planned).
Master Classes with Guest Soloists are often scheduled a few days prior to concerts and open to the public.
Free to children accompanied by an adult and act as a musical development tool to expose young children to a live orchestra and SSO players can be booked for area school visits.
Our community outreach program at Salisbury University offers private and group lessons at the Preparatory School of Music. Individual lessons in piano, strings, voice, guitar and most band and orchestral instruments are available. Various classes for pre-college students and adults are also offered.
