Eastern Shore Regional GIS Cooperative (ESRGC)

The Eastern Shore Regional GIS Cooperative (ESRGC) is an outreach unit of Salisbury University and a joint effort between the Mid-Shore Regional Council, Tri-County Council of the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland and the University. We are a group of GIS and programming professionals dedicated to creating partnerships with municipal, county, regional, state and federal governments as well as private and non-profit organizations in an effort to develop data-driven decision-making tools.

With more than 100 years of collective experience in the geospatial industry and 16 years as a GIS shop, the ESRGC has cultivated a reputation of professionalism, cutting-edge innovation and high-quality production.

The ESRGC project portfolio includes asset management, economic development, health care, hazard mitigation, natural resources management, transportation, tourism and broadband. Our talented team of GIS technicians, analysts, programmers, and project managers bring a myriad of skills to help our partners achieve their goals.

The ESRGC is committed to outreach and service by sharing our talents and experience with our state and local GIS communities as well as the next generation of geospatial professionals. The ESRGC has employed more than 200 interns over the last 16 years, growing the workforce of Maryland and beyond.
