SU's Online M.B.A. Named Among Nation’s Best for Sixth Year

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University has mastered online learning with its Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) Program, which has once again been named among the top in the U.S.

For the sixth year, U.S. News & World Report rated SU’s online M.B.A. Program one of the nation’s “Best Online Programs” (No. 142 out of 344). Selections were based on criteria including student engagement and excellence, faculty credentials and training, technology and peer assessment.

“We started the online M.B.A. program in 2015 and within just two years, it was ranked one of the top programs in the nation,” said Dr. Christy Weer, dean of SU’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business. “The program’s continued success is due in no small part to our impressive students, faculty and staff, who take every opportunity to grow as professionals.”

SU’s M.B.A. program offers many flexible options for all types of students to complete their degree. These options include two formats: 100 percent online, or hybrid with classroom and online components. Students may also choose a one-year accelerated track or a two-year or longer part-time track, suited for working professionals with full-time careers.

“One thing I love about the program is that it accommodated my busy working schedule,” said alumnus Matthias Lennemann ’21. “I might learn something in class on Monday night that I could apply in the office Tuesday morning. Right away, it made me a better employee, a better leader, and helped me succeed in my work environment.”

Anyone who is interested in learning more about earning an M.B.A. is invited to attend virtual interest sessions hosted by SU’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, and 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, via Zoom. Register for the February 15 session here and the April 19 session here
