Are you ready to become a Sea Gull? Follow this easy checklist to complete your enrollment and join the flock today.
-
Step One: Commit to SU
To officially become a Sea Gull, a $300 non-refundable admissions deposit must be made by May 15. Log in to your student portal to complete your Reply Form, available on your Admit Checklist. Then, under the Payment Due section, click on Submit Payment to pay your deposit.
-
Step Two: Make Yourself at Home
Once your deposit has been processed, you will gain access to the Housing Contract through the student portal. Housing preferences are based on the completion date of the Housing Contract, so you should submit it as soon as possible.
Learn about SU’s many housing options, including Living Learning Communities, where you can meet other first-year students who share similar interests:
SU has a two-year on-campus residency requirement for incoming freshman. If you live locally and wish to apply for an exemption to on-campus housing, you must still complete the Housing Contract first. For more information or questions on options during COVID-19, please contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life at house@salisbury.edu or 410-543-6040.

Step Three: Make Your Education More Affordable
As an admitted student, you will be automatically considered for a merit scholarship based on your high school transcript and test scores. If you qualify, you will receive an award letter in the mail beginning in early October, or about 7-10 days after your acceptance letter.
You can also visit SU’s Academic Works site and fill out the general application to be matched with other available institutional scholarships. Use SU’s Net Price Calculator to help you estimate your financial aid options.
Learn more about the many ways you can pay for your SU education:
We encourage you and your family to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than March 1 for priority SU financial aid consideration for Maryland state residents. Students from other states should check in with their state’s Department of Education for more information on deadlines.
You will be notified that your SU financial aid package is ready to be reviewed on SU’s GullNet website via the path Main Menu>Self Service>Campus Finances>Accept/Decline Awards.
