Akindi

Akindi logo

Akindi is a web-based test-scoring tool that serves as a modern alternative to the older bubblesheet (Scantron) service. Akindi allows instructors to create, administer and grade paper-based assessments.

Camtasia studio is currently only available for the Microsoft Windows platform and can be processor intensive when working with recordings. The user is able to capture video of anything on their computer screen (microphone and webcam input as well), and then edit and produce high-quality clips in many different file formats with a smart, quick to learn, and feature-rich interface.

Key features of Akindi:

  • Integration with MyClasses where faculty access and launch the product from their course navigation menu and after the assessment send scores to their course gradebook.
  • Flexible scanning options (no proprietary forms), individuals can use regular 8x5" x 11" paper and any scanner to manage assessments.
  • Want more than just the bubblesheet? Instructors can important their entire assessment from Word or PDF and within a few clicks, create alternative versions of their assessments.
  • Analyze and review assessment results through the online platform.

Instructions on how to Launch Akindi and create a bubblesheet or an entire assessment (questions and bubblesheet) are in the ID&D Knowledgebase.
