$1.5 Million Gift from Couple Who Met at Salisbury University Endows Honors College

Since it began in 1980, Salisbury University’s Honors program has been dedicated to giving high-achieving college students the tools they need to succeed. Now, it will be able to offer even more to Honors students with a $1.5 million gift from two former SU students to endow the Glenda Chatham and Robert G. Clarke Honors College. Bob and Glenda Clarke began their story at SU in 1968, when they met in the registration line during their first year of college. Since then, they have remained invested in both education and people. Their long-lasting gifts will continue to inspire SU students for many generations to come.

Please note: All faculty, staff, students and visitors on campus are required to follow safety protocols including screening, face mask and physical distancing requirements. For the most up-to-date information about University operations related to COVID-19, please visit SU’s COVID-19 webpage.
