SU Art Department Presents Senior Graphic Design Exhibition November 5-18

SU Art Department SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Art Department presents the 51st semi-annual Senior Graphic Design Exhibition November 5-18 in the University Gallery of Fulton Hall.

Sixteen graduating graphic design students showcase their creative work ranging from typography, to poster design, to printmaking, to package design. A reception and awards ceremony is 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 14, and light refreshments will be served.

In conjunction with the exhibition, SU alumna Nikole Grad returns to her Alma Mater for a visiting artist talk 5 p.m. Thursday, November 13, in Fulton Hall Room 111.

Earning her B.F.A. in art from SU in 2008, Grad was the lead designer and brand manager for the District of Columbia Jewish Community Center before joining the startup firm NAV as design director in 2013. Founded by Michael Alea, former art director for the Obama White House, NAV works with major national and international clients, including Target, Google and Southwest Airlines.

Grad shares her experiences on the journey from student to successful design professional. While at SU, she also judges the Senior Graphic Design Exhibition.
