SALISBURY---U.S. News & World Report has ranked two of Salisbury University’s graduate programs among the nation’s best.
In the publication’s list of “Best Graduate Schools” for 2026, SU’s Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education made the top tier in Best Education Schools, at No. 144 in the U.S.
SU’s M.B.A. program, in the Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, also was listed among the second tier of Best Part-Time M.B.A. Programs, placing it among the nation’s top 245 programs in that category.
“U.S. News & World Report’s recognition of the Seidel School and our graduate education programs are especially meaningful as Salisbury University celebrates the 100th anniversary of our founding as a teachers’ college,” said SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre.
“This distinction highlights our continued strength of our education programs, while recognition of our M.B.A. program reflects the continued growth and momentum of our academic offerings as we enter our second century. In education and business, as well as health, science, and the liberal arts, SU remains a leader – delivering exceptional outcomes for our students and earning recognition at the state, regional, and national levels.”
U.S. News graduate school rankings are based on expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school’s faculty, research and students. More than 2,000 programs were surveyed.
These are not the first honors the publication has bestowed upon SU this academic year. In September, SU climbed to 45th overall in U.S. News’ “Best Colleges” rankings, placing 18th among the region’s “Top Public Schools.” SU also was recognized as one of the “Top Performers on Social Mobility” and “Best Colleges for Veterans,” and for having one of the “Best Bachelor of Science in Nursing” programs.
Earlier this year, U.S. News ranked SU’s M.S. in Nursing (No. 105), M.B.A. (No. 172), and M.Ed. (No. 223) programs among the country’s “Best Online Master’s Degrees of 2026.”
