SU Faculty Discuss the 2021 Capitol Insurrection March 9

SALISBURY, MD---A Salisbury University political science faculty panel examines the January 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol during the presentation “The 2021 Capitol Insurrection” 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, in a virtual setting.
Drs. Adam Hoffman, Taehyun Nam, Michael O’Loughlin, Eric Rittinger, Len Robinson and Sarah Surak discuss multiple facets of the insurrection, including the white supremacist movement, public opinion, political coups, authoritarianism and the rhetoric of President Donald Trump. A question-and-answer session follows.
