Text-Based Directions

Find your way quickly to selected points of interest in the Guerrieri Academic Commons using these text-based directions, which explain the quickest route from a building entrance or elevator to that location.

Main Elevators

From Parking Lot Entrance

After entering, go straight to the end of the marble wall, approximately 40 feet or 20 steps. Turn right. The elevators will be on your right.

From Bell Tower Entrance

After entering, go straight ahead to the end of the corridor, approximately 140 feet or 70 steps. The elevators will be directly in front of you.

From Cafe Entrance

After entering, go straight out of the Café and turn left. Go straight past the Library Service Desk and the Pit, approximately 100 feet or 50 steps. When you come to the bulletin board, turn right and go to the end of the corridor, another approximately 140 feet or 70 steps. The elevators will be directly in front of you.

From Purdue/Henson Lawn Entrance

After entering, go straight until you reach the far wall, approximately 150 feet or 75 steps. Then turn right and go to the end of the corridor, another approximately 140 feet or 70 steps. The elevators will be directly in front of you.
Library Service Desk

From Parking Lot Entrance

After entering, go straight for approximately 30 feet or 15 steps. Take a right turn and continue past the main staircase for approximately 45 feet or 20 steps, with the Pit on your left. At the end of the Pit, turn left and walk approximately 100 feet or 50 steps, and the Library Service Desk will be in front of you and to the left.

From Bell Tower Entrance

After entering, turn right and walk approximately 40 feet or 20 steps with the Pit on your left. The Library Service Desk will be in front of you and to the left.

From Cafe Entrance

After entering, go straight out of the Café and turn left. Go a few steps forward and the Library Service Desk will be in front of you and to the right.

From Perdue/Henson Lawn Entrance

From the Perdue entrance, go straight approximately 60 feet or 30 steps, past the seating area and lockers on your right. The Library Service Desk will be on your right.
Library Classrooms AC 162 and AC 163

From Parking Lot Entrance

After entering, go straight past the Dean's Office and Sammy's Supplies, approximately 160 feet or 80 steps. Turn right and go approximately 40 feet or 20 steps, past a nook for printing and scanning. Classroom 162 is on your left and classroom 163 is straight ahead.

From Bell Tower Entrance

After entering, go straight approximately 30 feet or 15 steps, past the bulletin board. Turn left and go approximately 40 feet or 20 steps, past a nook for printing and scanning. Classroom 162 is on your left and classroom 163 is straight ahead.

From Cafe Entrance

After entering, go straight out of the Café and turn left. Go straight past the Library Service Desk and the Pit on your right, about 100 feet or 50 steps. When you come to the bulletin board, turn right and go approximately 30 feet or 15 steps, then turn left and go past a nook for printing and scanning. Classroom 162 is on your left and classroom 163 is straight ahead.

From Perdue/Henson Lawn Entrance

AFter entering, continue straight to the other end of the Pit, about 150 feet or 75 steps. When you come to the bulletin board, turn right, go approximately 30 feet or 15 steps, then turn left and go past a nook for printing and scanning. Classroom 162 is on your left and classroom 163 is straight ahead.
Library Classroom AC 117 and the SU Libraries MakerLab

From Parking Lot Entrance

After entering, go about 30 feet or 15 steps forward, then turn to your left. Go straight for approximately 110 feet or 50 steps, past the grand staircase and into a hallway with offices on your right. Take the first left into a small side hallway and walk forward about 30 feet or 15 steps. Turn right and walk toward the glass wall, which is classroom AC 117. The door to the classroom will be slightly to your left. Continue walking approximately 30 feet or 15 steps and the MakerLab door will be on your left.

From Bell Tower Entrance

After entering, turn left and walk to the opposite end of the building, past the library service desk, approximately 150 feet or 75 steps. Turn left and walk to the opposite end of the building, approximately 150 feet or 75 steps. The Maker Lab door will be directly in front of you. Turn to the left and go approximately 30 feet or 15 steps forward to reach classroom AC 117 on your left.

From Cafe Entrance

After entering, go straight out of the Café and turn right, then go forward about 40 feet or 20 steps. Proceed to the opposite end of the building, approximately 150 feet or 75 steps steps. The Maker Lab Door will be directly in front of you. Turn to the left and go approximately 30 feet or 15 steps forward to reach classroom AC 117 on your left.

From Perdue/Henson Lawn Entrance

After entering, turn right and walk to the opposite end of the building, approximately 150 feet or 75 steps. The Maker Lab Door will be directly in front of you. Turn to the left and go approximately 30 feet or 15 steps forward to reach classroom AC 117 on your left.
Accessibility Room (AC 115)

From Parking Lot Entrance

After entering, turn left and cross the Library Exhibit Space. Continue straight for approximately 110 feet or 50 steps, through the open set of doors, and into the hallway. Just after passing through the set of double doors, the Accessibility Room (AC 115) will be on your left.

From Bell Tower Entrance

After entering, go straight approximately 140 feet or 70 steps until you reach the main elevators. Turn right and continue forward around the grand staircase approximately 50 feet or 25 steps to the start of a hallway. Turn to the left after entering the hall and the Accessibility Room (AC 115) will be in front of you.

From Cafe Entrance

After entering, go straight out of the Café and turn left. Go approximately 30 feet or 15 steps, until you reach the Library Service Desk. Turn right and continue forward approximately 140 feet or 70 steps to the start of a hallway, after passing the IT Helpdesk. Turn right to enter into the hall, and immediately on your left will be the Accessibility Room (AC 115).

From Perdue/Henson Lawn Entrance

After entering, turn to the right and continue down the corridor approximately 120 feet or 60 steps. Turn left at the end of this hall, in front of the MakerLab. Go to the other end of this hallway, and the last room on your right will be the Accessibility Room (AC 115).
Third Floor South Reading Room (Book Stacks - Call Numbers A-HF)

Take the main elevator to the third floor. Turn left and go straight around the grand staircase. The doors to the South Reading Room will be directly ahead, approximately 100 feet or 50 steps. Enter the reading room, and turn right. Pass the first row of shelves, which are the Juvenile Collection, and the General Collection stacks begin at the second row. They are numbered starting with shelf number 7 and continue on this side through shelf number 62.
Third Floor North Reading Room (Book Stacks - Call Numbers HF-Z)
Nabb Research Center

Take the main elevators to the fourth floor. Turn left when exiting the elevator, then go past the Board Room approximately 100 feet or 50 steps. The doors the Nabb Center will be on your right. Enter and go approximately 20 feet or 10 steps and you will come to the Nabb Center Reception Desk on your left.
