New Resident Assistant Selection
Simply attend an information session and complete the online RA application. Once you complete the application, click the "submit" button. Should you experience any difficulties completing the application, please contact Area Director Tony Sampson (txsampson@salisbury.edu).
Requirements
- Attend one RA Information Session
- Be a full-time undergraduate student
- Minimum 2.50 Cumulative GPA
- Cannot be on any type of University probation and hold the RA position at the same time
- Must have a clean conduct history
- Serve as an RA for the entire academic year

Must attend the RA class in the spring 2026 semester, cannot be registered for any other classes on Wednesday from 3:00-8:00pm.

Timeline for Spring 2026 Applicants (Mid-Year Hire)
- Info sessions begin: Monday, November 3, 2025
- Last Info Session to be considered for Spring Hire: Tuesday, November 18, 2025
- Spring Hire Applications due: Wednesday, November 18 at 11:59 p.m.
- Interviews for Spring Candidates: December 1-5, 2025
- Winter RA Training will take place in January 2026
(Note: Spring hires should also plan on taking the RA Class in the Spring with the Fall 2025 Hires)
