How do I apply to graduate school? You can apply now using our online application. You will need to set up a CollegeNet account to access the online application. Once your application is complete, it will be sent to the program for review.
Do I have to take the GRE? Each program determines their testing requirements. Please visit their page or contact their office for additional questions regarding testing.

Can I apply for an application fee waiver? Active Military and Veterans receive an automatic fee waiver. If you require a fee waiver due to financial hardship, please contact Graduate Studies and Research at 410-677-0047. You may be required to provide proof of financial hardship.
How long does it take to get a master's degree? It varies by program, but students can typically complete a master's degree in about 2 years. Regardless of program, Salisbury University requires all program requirements to be completed within 7-years. If your coursework extends beyond 7-years, please consult with your Advisor or Program Director for options.
What is considered full-time graduate studies? Students must enroll in at least nine hours per semester to be full time. Graduate Assistants may enroll in six hours per semester to be considered full time.
Can I enroll in two degree programs at the same time? Yes, but you must maintain enrollment in both programs by enrolling in coursework each calendar year.

Where do I find books? You have several options when it comes to acquiring necessary textbooks. You may purchase directly from the SU Bookstore or opt to rent your books from several online vendors. Can I participate in Commencement prior to completing my coursework? If you are completing final credits or coursework in summer or winter, you may request to participate in the preceding ceremony. You will need to request this by completing the form found at: https://webapps.salisbury.edu/registrar/forms/. Take special notice of deadlines. This is permission to participate ONLY. No diploma will be generated until all required coursework is completed.
