Instructor, Jean Goblinger
Jean Goblinger obtained a bachelor's degree in English from Notre Dame College and a master's degree in Communications from the University of Akron. She has been teaching English as a second language for the past two years for the English Language Institute and is also an adjunct instructor for the Communications Department at Salisbury University. She is a bridge instructor for the ELI group, teaching native speakers to talk with confidence.
Instructor, Sandy Johnston
Ms. Sandy Johnston earned her M.A. in Composition and Rhetoric from Salisbury University, with additional graduate credits in TESOL, and a B.A. Communication/Journalism from Shippensburg University. She has taught technical writing and composition at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for the past 10 years. She also has taught writing workshops for international students to improve their writing skills.
Instructor, Caroline Porter-Long
Mrs. Caroline Porter-Long received a bachelor’s degree at the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Arts in English from Wake Forest University. She has taught Language Arts at Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, Virginia, English grammar, composition and literature at Wor-Wic Community College, and Honors Critical Thinking and Writing at Salisbury University. She also worked as a research interviewer for Johns Hopkins University’s Wilmer Eye Institute.
