Three Viewings Theatre Auditions August 1-2" 

SALISBURY, MD--Casting for the opening play of the 2001-2002 theatre season at Salisbury University will be held on Wednesday, August 1, and Thursday, August 2, from 6 p.m.–9 p.m. in Fulton Hall Theatre.

Auditions are open to all students, staff, and faculty of the University and residents of the Eastern Shore. The play, Three Viewings, written by Jeffrey Hatcher, is directed by Catie Shingleton. It is a one-act dark comedy, consisting of three monologues set in a funeral home.

Casting requirements include one man (40s or 50s) and two women (one in her 30s or 40s, one in her 50s or 60s). Audition requirements include a memorized 3-5 minute monologue (comedy or drama) and readings from the script. Experience in monologue work and/or storytelling is most welcome. A copy of the script is on reserve on campus in the Blackwell Library.
