Clara Small Keynote Speaker at Ross Mansion 

SALISBURY, MD -- Dr. Clara L. Small, professor of history in the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts at Salisbury State University, was the keynote speaker at the Ross Mansion, Seaford, DE.The theme forSmall’s presentation was "The Gathering," emphasizing a multicultural celebration in which all ethnic groups, traditions and beliefs have an opportunity to experience diversity and cultural differences, while respecting and accepting others who are similar, but different.

The event, "The Gathering," was conceived, designed and hosted by Teresa West in an attempt to bring the diverse elements of the community together to converse, to understand, to work together for the benefit of the whole and to move into the future. The program consisted of songs, poetry reading, creative dance, a fashion show, multicultural trivia and creative movements.
