SU Faculty, Former Faculty Team For Teacher Education Book

SALISBURY, MD---Dr. George Whitehead III, Salisbury University social psychology professor, and former SU professor Florence Fay Pritchard have provided a revolutionary guidebook to teacher educators and service learning industry professionals.

Their book, Serve and Learn: Implementing and Evaluating Service-Learning in Middle and High Schools, explains how service learning can enhance a student’s intellectual development while promoting academic achievement and citizenship. The publication offers practical information and ideas for community partners and teachers to design, implement and evaluate service learning projects.
