Rebecca Miller Appointed to State Archives Position"

SALISBURY, MD---Rebecca F. Miller, director of the Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture at Salisbury State University and Princess Anne native, has been appointed to the Search Room Advisory Committee at the Maryland State Archives in Annapolis, MD, for a two-year term. The Advisory Committee is comprised of 14 persons from governmental and historical affiliations from across the state, noted researchers and senior members of the State Archives staff. At the time of her appointment, Miller was the only appointee from the Eastern Shore.

"Her nomination was derived from her long reputation as an historian of Eastern Shore life," said officials.

The committee meets biannually in Annapolis and is chaired by State Archivist Edward C. Papenfuse.
