Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center Hosts Family Concert April 12

Lower Shore Child CareSALISBURY, MD---The Lower Shore Child Care Resource Center (LSCCRC) at Salisbury University celebrates the Month of the Young Child in April with a free family concert Friday, April 12.

Early childhood consultant, curriculum writer and recording artist Dr. Mike performs at 7 p.m. in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center. His “Sing to Read” program combines classic children’s songs, such as Wheels on the Bus, with contemporary hip-hop, rock, Reggae and Latin rhythms and visual learning tools to create a multisensory approach to literacy education.

Sponsored by the LSCCRC and the Judy Centers of Wicomico and Worcester counties, admission is free, but tickets are required. An all-day conference for early educators follows Saturday, April 13.
