International Research Students Assist PMG

SALISBURY, MD--The Project Management Group (PMG), an outreach program of Salisbury State University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, welcomes six student research associates – some from as far away as France and Romania - to the team to further its mission of community business development.

“I believe I can bring my foreign expertise to the group and at the same time learn about U.S. business,” said Cyrille Fradin, an SSU graduate exchange student from Lyons, France.

Fradin joins five other students including: Valentin Moscaliuc, a graduate student from Romania; Benoit Calvarin, a graduate student from Brest, France; Meredith Burkhead, a marking student from Modest Town, VA; Amanda Elzey, an international business student from Brookfield, VT, and Angela Brown, a marketing student from Salisbury.

The students gain hands-on experience while applying their classroom knowledge to real-world projects. They include research on the Regional Transportation Master Planning Project for mass transit and a community-supported agriculture plan for Bievenidos a Salisbury, a Hispanic outreach initiative.
