Chesapeake  Bay Country Research Lecture Oct. 16

SALISBURY, MD---Rebecca Miller, director of the Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture at Salisbury State University, discusses her recent research in Chesapeake Bay Country history during the Chesapeake Bay in the 21st Century Conference on Monday, October 16, at the Nabb Center at 1 p.m.

Her talk, “Recent Findings on Colonial Somerset County History: What They Tell us of the Bay Country,” is free and open to the public. Miller received her B.A. and M.A. from SSU. She is actively involved statewide in genealogy and local history projects. The Nabb Center’s mission is to introduce students and interested persons, said Miller, “to the vast historical and cultural heritage of Delmarva. The Center seeks to achieve this mission through the accumulation, preservation and conservation of records and other resources which reflect the region’s historical uniqueness and diversity.”
