Celebration of Palestinian Arts Held November 14

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates the Palestinian arts with an afternoon of music and dance starting 2 p.m. Saturday, November 14, in the Wicomico Room of the Guerrieri University Center.

Palestinian musician Fuad Foty sings and performs on the ’oud, a traditional Middle Eastern stringed instrument, in a fusion of Middle Eastern and Western music. Accompanying Foty’s musical performance is a circular dabke dance performance. The celebration is rounded out with tastes and sights of Palestinian life.
