'Time' Names SU Among 'America's Best Colleges' in Inaugural Rankings

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University has been recognized among the nation’s top universities in Time magazine’s inaugural ranking of “America’s Best Colleges.”

The list of 500 institutions is based on the value-added contribution of each featured university, measuring outcomes including graduate earnings and completion rates. Institutions were evaluated across three core pillars: student outcomes, learning environment, and attractiveness. SU was ranked No. 315.

By placing a strong emphasis on return on investment and student outcomes, Time’s ranking recognizes SU as a university that not only provides an exceptional college experience, but also the foundation students need for a successful future.”

Time’s rankings were issued in partnership with Statista, the leading global provider of marketing and consumer data and rankings. Student outcomes accounted for the majority of consideration, weighted at 75%.

For more than 25 years, The Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report have ranked SU among the top higher education institutions in the U.S. Other publications, including Forbes, Money, and Washington Monthly, also have consistently rated SU as one of the nation’s best.
