SU Hosts Take Back the Night for Sexual Violence Awareness

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University hosts a Take Back the Night event 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, in the Great Hall and Social Room of Holloway Hall.

Take Back the Night is a national program with the purpose of increasing awareness and prevention of sexual violence while empowering survivors.

Resource tables and a poster-making station are available from 6-6:40 p.m., followed by a rally and march around campus. Speakers and performance groups begin at 7:15 p.m., followed by a “Speak Out!” session. Participants are encouraged to bring pre-made signs to show their support or make one at the event.
