Community Enjoys Halloween Activities at SU

SALISBURY, MD---From witches and ghouls to princesses and superheroes, hundreds of children gathered on Camden Avenue for Salisbury University’s second annual community trick-or-treating event.

SU President Carolyn Ringer Lepre joined Sammy Sea Gull, students and campus volunteers in handing out nearly 7,000 pieces of candy on Halloween night.

Many young guests also visited SU’s Henson Science Hall for a “Spooky Science Spectacular,” where they joined faculty from the Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology in enjoying hands-on chemistry-, physics- and biology-related activities from creating spooky slime to solving a mystery using pumpkin DNA.
