SU's Nabb Center Hosts Lecture on Recording Area's Historic Cemeteries

CemeterySALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture hosts archaeologist Aaron Levinthal for his lecture “Putting the Smartphone to Good Use: Recording Historic Cemeteries with The Maryland State Highway Administration” 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 5 in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

Levinthal discusses the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration’s effort to record the locations and details of cemeteries across the State of Maryland. Learn how to use a free app that enables users to record cemetery locations and details remotely.

Admission is free and the public is invited. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
