Important COVID-19 Information for SU Employees

Dear SU Faculty and Staff,

As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

  • Registration is open for three COVID-19 vaccination and booster clinics on campus next week on the second floor of Blackwell Hall:
  • KN95, N95 or KF94 face masks are required in all classrooms and instructional settings and encouraged in all other areas of campus during the semester.
  • All members of the SU community (including those on satellite campuses) are required to remain up to date with their vaccines, according to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including getting the booster when eligible.

Until February 4, employees who are eligible for the COVID-19 booster shot and have not yet received it are required to test twice weekly to maintain campus access.

  • All employees are encouraged to log into GullNet to check clearance status prior to arriving to campus.
  • Salisbury University is required to report all vaccinations conducted on campus to the Maryland Department of Health. SU securely stores vaccine information through electronic medical records based on consents signed in the fall. Please email Campus Health you would like to opt out of the system.

A similar message has been sent to students. Please review Friday's COVID-19 communication for additional information.

Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
