SU Student COVID-19 Vaccination Deadline Nears

Dear SU students,

As Salisbury University continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:

  • The deadline for students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (both shots of a two-dose vaccine or one shot of the single-dose vaccine, plus two weeks) to begin the fall semester is Monday, August 30.
  • SU will host free on-campus vaccination clinics on Tuesday, August 10, and Thursday, August 12, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall. Email CampusHealth@salisbury.edu for an appointment.
  • The deadline to receive your return-to-campus COVID-19 test is Thursday, September 30. (Students living on campus will receive theirs as part of move-in.) This is required regardless of vaccination status. If you have not already scheduled yours, do so today at https://sutesting.timetap.com.
  • Campus Health offers free vaccination shots by appointment. To schedule yours, email CampusHealth@salisbury.edu.
  • The Wicomico County Health Department and TidalHealth also offer free vaccination clinics. For times and locations, visit https://www.salisbury.edu/coronavirus/vaccine.aspx.
  • Students who are not fully vaccinated must continue to take an SU-administered COVID-19 test every Tuesday and Thursday, with a negative result, to maintain campus access this summer and through the fall semester. Classes missed due to lack of campus access are not considered “excused,” and faculty are not required to make accommodations.
  • Face masks continue to be required for all non-vaccinated individuals inside SU buildings.
  • Unsure whether you are cleared to be on campus? Check your status in GullNet and contact Campus Health to find out what is required if you believe your status is incorrect.

Please stay safe, and thank you for continuing to do your part to #ProtectTheFlock.
