SU Piano and Strings Students Perform Virtually May 7

piano and stringsSALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Music, Theatre and Dance Department hosts its semi-annual piano and strings concert 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, in a virtual format.

Piano performances include selections from Chopin and Brahms by SU students Alex Dipirro and Elijah Fallen.

Violin performances include Wieniawski’s “Mazurka, Op. 19, No. 1” by Lindsey Behrman. Christopher Sajadi will perform his original composition “Three Lori Folk Songs for Violin and Piano.”

Other strings performances include “The Swan” by Ben Rodman on cello. Kenneth Leonard and Elizabeth Tarnosky perform “A Cello Duo” by Franz Kummer. Zander Baer, on cello, performs “The Allegro” by Sammartini.

The musicians are students of Drs. Linda Cockey, Sachi Murasugi and Jeffrey Schoyen.
