SU Classes to Remain Online for Duration of Spring Semester

COVID-19 UpdateSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University today announced it will suspend in-person classes for the remainder of the semester and cancel in-person Commencement this May following guidance from the University System of Maryland provided after this morning’s action announced by Governor Larry Hogan to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Most classes will continue to be taught online and remotely through May. All campus buildings remain closed to the public, and no events will be held on campus until further notice.

SU is exploring alternatives for the traditional Commencement ceremony that would celebrate the hard work of graduating students and their academic scholarship.
