SU Art Galleries Exhibit Showcases Works by Carl Goldhagen

Carl Goldhagen artSALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University Art Galleries Downtown hosts the exhibit “The Long View: Selected Works 1970s to Present” by Carl Goldhagen June 21-August 24.

An opening reception is 5-7 p.m. June 21 during the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District’s monthly 3rd Friday celebration.

Goldhagen, who taught at SU from 2003-2017, has maintained studios in New York since the late 1970s and in Girdletree, MD, since 2010. The exhibit illustrates his broad approach to art in media including painting, photography, drawing and sculpture. His work has cycled through several styles over the years, including pattern and decoration, landscape and figuration and, most recently, his ongoing “Little House Series.”

Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. Admission is free and the public is invited.
