‘Laridae’ Launch Party at SU November 21

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University celebrates the launch of its undergraduate student academic journal, Laridae, 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, November 21, in the Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall.

Laridae, the Latin name for the family of birds that includes seagulls, features published works from students across campus. Select authors will read excerpts from their writing and showcase visual arts. The first 200 attendees receive a free copy of the journal. This event is a significant celebration because Laridae is the first undergraduate research journal in Salisbury University’s history.

Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (OURCA), admission is free and the public is invited. Those coming from off campus are required to display a visitor parking pass, which may be requested from the Parking Services website.
