Fractal Dimensionsin the PascGalois Triangle" Subject of Presentation by ProfessorsBardzell and Shannon

SALISBURY, MD--Drs. Michael J. Bardzell and Kathleen M. Shannon of Salisbury State University's Department of Mathematics and Computer Science recently presented "Fractal Dimensions in the PascGalois Triangle" at the regional meeting of the Mathematics Association of America at Loyola College in Baltimore.

Two other faculty members and three students from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science were in attendance at the presentation, which involved mathematically and computer generated animated mosaics.

Bardzell and Shannon with the assistance of students Daniel Winter and Shannon Ostiguy, interns in SSU's Instructional Media Office, are working to generate three dimensional virtual reality extensions of this work.
