Spend a day with a small group learning the basics about starting a business. Areas covered include: writing a business plan, banking requirements, insurance needs, marketing, recordkeeping and legal aspects. The seminar, in Salisbury State Universitys Commons, is on Thursday, August 20, from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
This event is sponsored by the Maryland Small Business Development Center-Eastern Region, Salisbury State University, SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives-Lower Shore chapter) and the Wicomico County Chamber of Commerce.
