My research area can be broadly described as Racism & Coping, which is the name of my Research Lab. at SU. I am interested in how people engage in race dialogues, conversations about race, racism, race relations, and racial identity, as well as how people of Color cope with racism and racial discriminations. I am interested how to effectively mentor students of Color and other marginalized students. Cultural adjustment of Asian immigrants and refugees is also an area I have investigated.
