Bio
I graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Arts degree in Exercise Physiology from College Park. Upon graduation, I became certified as an Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. My first career was at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD in which I was the Wellness Manager and Phase III/IV Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager at an off-site facility. In addition, I was certified to teach Pilates, Zumba and indoor cycling. After working in wellness, fitness and rehab for 15 years, I started teaching Exercise Science courses at Salisbury University. I enjoy sharing my passion for fitness and the science/research that proves its vital importance in one's health and wellness.
