Requirements for Admission – SU’s Exercise Science Program at USG

To help you set your success in motion at SU, we want to share with you the process to prepare for, apply to, and be accepted into the Exercise Science Program:

  • You’ve already completed the first step: being officially admitted to SU!
  • Second, you must complete the approval/admission process to enter the Exercise Science Program at USG, outlined below. Please note, admission to SU does not guarantee acceptance to this program.

To be considered for admission to the Exercise Science Program, current and prospective students must fulfill the following requirements:

  • All transcripts from previous academic institutions attended must be on file in the Office of Admissions.
  • Ordinarily, you must have completed all Salisbury University General Education requirements.
  • Prior to the semester in which you plan to begin the upper-division coursework, you must successfully complete or have a plan to complete all Exercise Science Program prerequisite coursework with no grade lower than a C. This includes: BIOL 215, BIOL 216, EXSC 213, EXSC 240, EXSC 250 and EXSC 305 (or their equivalents at Montgomery College or Frederick Community College).

Students are eligible to enter the Exercise Science Program at USG upon completion of the admission requirements.
