Our responsibility is to maintain a system of courier drivers that can be dispatched immediately to local business in support of purchases for supplies and materials ordered to support campus wide operations.

The University has many buyers that place requirements on the courier manager for pick up and delivery of materials and supplies on an as needed basis. There is no advance notice or schedule for most of the requirements and they are expedited as they occur. The courier travels to local businesses to pick up ordered items that are requested and delivers them to locations on campus due to the urgency of the need. The courier must have a copy of the completed Requisition or Purchase Order prior to going to the local vendor for pick up to verify the order and processing of the paperwork.
