Shore Transit is a local public transportation system that operates through-out Wicomico, Worcester, and Somerset Counties. It operates Monday – Saturday with limited service on Sundays. There is no cost for SU students, staff, or faculty to use Shore Transit during the Fall, Winter, and Spring semesters. No service on New Year’s, Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Holidays. Bay Runner Shuttle
Bay Runner offers transportation between Salisbury and Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Rates start at $69 one way, including one large bag and one small bag. Shuttles leave from 547 Riverside Drive. Visit its website or call 410-912-6000 to schedule service.
Downtown Salisbury Trolley
The City of Salisbury and Maryland Transit Administration provide downtown trolley service from the bus stop near the Guerrieri Academic Commons and several off-campus student housing complexes from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays during the semester. Service begins at 5 p.m. during the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District’s monthly 3rd Friday celebrations downtown. Fare is $1 per ride. See the schedule for more information.
Salisbury Taxi serves SU and the surrounding community 24 hours a day. Students receive a special discounted rate of $16 to the Salisbury Regional Airport. Call 410-742-6666 to schedule your ride.
Greyhound Bus Service
Greyhound offers long-distance bus service from Salisbury. Its terminal is located at 31901 Tri County Way. Visit its website or call 410-677-3017 for schedules, prices and tickets.
