To use TurningPoint as part of the classroom instructions, instructors will need to complete the following initial steps before the start of the semester:
- Verify that your classroom is TurningPoint capable (software is installed and possible TurningPoint receiver). Go to Facilities Reservations schedule, locate and click on the title for the desired classroom, select Features to see if “TurningPoint capable” is listed. If your classroom is not listed or it does not indicate it is TurningPoint capable, please contact the IT Help Desk.
- Optionally, add a statement in your syllabus regarding the use of TurningPoint in your class.
- Salisbury University uses the latest version of TurningPoint for Student Response activities. To be able to participate in TurningPoint Activities using any web-enabled device or a clicker and to receive credit for the TurningPoint Activities, you must a Turning Account and purchase/redeem a Turning Account Subscription. Review the TurningPoint Student Support Pages for more information and guides on how to create and activate Turning Account subscription.
- Enable the "TurningPoint Registration" link in your course in MyClasses.
