The Center for Healthy Communities provides community education that delivers equitable access to educational opportunities that community members may not have otherwise had. Working to increase health literacy and empower community members to improve their quality of life, the CHC develops didactic training materials and innovative programming.
Professional Development
From booking a speaker to building a conference, the Center for Healthy Communities can partner with your organization to facilitate in-person, online and hybrid professional development opportunities.
Co-sponsorship provides support of:
- Conference and platform management
- Marketing, advertising and registration governance
- Attendance and event administration
- Post-event evaluation and certificate distribution
The Center for Healthy Communities also hosts learning opportunities throughout the year to enhance the knowledge and skills of our community professionals. Socially relevant topics are thoughtfully selected to address pertinent issues affecting our local and regional communities, and include health and wellbeing, nutrition, chronic disease management, and mental health – all with an emphasis on the social determinants of health.
