Salisbury University Women's Forum

Welcome to the Salisbury University Women's Forum, a chapter of the University System of Maryland (USM) Women's Forum! We are an inclusive group dedicated to creating a cultural shift towards gender equality. Our mission is to actively address women’s issues and empower those in our campus community who identify as female. We welcome input from all members of the Salisbury University community, regardless of gender identity.

It’s time to register for our next conference for international women’s day: 2020 vision!

We had such an incredible time of celebration and reflection at our last conference for International Women’s Day, with the theme of SEEKING JUSTICE. With our upcoming conference, we honor 100 years since women began progressively gaining the right to vote in America. We will celebrate the firsts of the last 100 years that have moved us toward greater gender equality, and talk about the firsts we still need to happen.

Please join us on MARCH 6, in the Worcester Room of the Commons, with proceedings from 1:30-6pm. Light refreshments will be served. Come for all or part of the day. All are welcome! Doors open at 1pm, including poster presentations.

This event is free and open to the public, but since seating is limited we have to track numbers—so, please REGISTER HERE to secure a place.
