Bit of Broadway Opens Sept. 7 in  Black Box Theatre 

SALISBURY, MD---The Bobbi Biron Theatre Program at Salisbury State University presents an original musical review, A Bit of Broadway, directed and choreographed by Martha Pfeiffer on Thursday, September 7, through Sunday, September 10. Held in the Black Box Theatre in SSU’s Fulton Hall, Thursday and Friday performances are at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday a 2 p.m. matinee only. Admission is free, but a donation of $5 is suggested.

Supplying a bit of nostalgia for SSU, A Bit of Broadway is comprised of tunes, selected and arranged by Pfeiffer, from SSU past shows including selections from Godspell, Grease, Into the Woods, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, A Chorus Line, Pippin, The Secret Garden and West Side Story.

The performance includes alumni singers and dancers, some of which will sing the songs that they performed in the musicals when were at SSU.

Alumni cast members include Pfeiffer, Tim Dykes, Christine Hall and Brandon Palm; student performers are P.J. Brennan, Cara Dustmann, Gregg Pica, Dianna Giattino, Tammy Tyler and Cate Sheehy.
