Workshop: "Intro to Genealogical Sources and Interpretation of Handwriting of Colonial  Records" by 

SALISBURY, MD---Dr. G. Ray Thompson, chair of the Department of History at Salisbury State University, will give a free workshop, "Introduction to Genealogical Sources and Interpretation of Handwriting in Colonial Records," on Saturday, September 23, from 2-4 p.m. in the Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

The presentation, part of SSU’s 75th Anniversary Celebration, examines the various kinds of records available to researchers studying the Lower Eastern Shore in the 17th and 18th centuries and how to interpret the handwriting.
