Sweeny Todd Auditions Scheduled December 1-2

SALISBURY, MD---Auditions for the Salisbury University Theatre production of the Stephen Sondheim musical Sweeney Todd are Monday-Tuesday, December 1-2, at 7 p.m. in Fulton Hall Room 130 (Chorus Rehearsal Room).  Callbacks and auditions by appointment are Friday, December 5, at 4 p.m., also in FH 130.

Singers are asked to prepare 16-30 measures of a Broadway song from a musical other than Sweeney Todd.  Works by Sondheim are recommended. Pop selections are not acceptable. Piano accompaniment will be provided so please bring sheet music.  SU students, faculty and staff as well as members of the local community are encouraged to audition.

Rehearsals start in February for this March production in Holloway Hall Auditorium.  Dr. T. Paul Pfeiffer, director of SU Theatre, directs.  Dr. William Folger, SU choral director, is musical director.  For more information, call Pfeiffer at 410-543-6235.
