SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University’s Department of Health Sciences and the Respiratory Care Department at Peninsula Regional Medical Center hosts its seventh annual Partners in Respiratory Care Excellence Symposium Thursday-Friday, March 15-16.  This year’s topic is “Advances in Neonatal, Pediatric and Adult Critical Care.”

The symposium provides updates for regional health care practitioners by nationally renowned leaders in the field of critical care. Collectively, nine speakers are featured including both local and national health care practitioners. “This annual symposium seeks to provide exceptional continuing medical education opportunities for regional health care practitioners working in critical care,” said Dr. Robert Joyner, director of SU’s Respiratory Therapy program. “It represents an ongoing collaborative effort between the University and Peninsula Regional Medical Center working toward the optimization of critical care in the communities we serve.”
