SU Presents 'e2 Energy' Film Series March 22-April 5

SALISBURY, MD---Salisbury University brings sustainability to the silver screen during the film series “e2 Energy: the Economics of Being Environmentally Conscious” 7 p.m. Mondays, March 22-April 5, in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.

Episodes of the original PBS series e2 Energy screened at SU include:

March 22: Harvesting the Wind and Energy for a Developing World – A community wind farm in Minnesota has a widespread regional economic impact. Meanwhile, solar energy may be a key to alleviating poverty in Bangladesh.

March 29: Paving the Way and Growing Energy – The first episode examines the need for greater transportation efficiencies. The second looks at ethanol production in Brazil and its future in the United States.

April 5: State of Resolve and Coal or Nuclear: Problem or Solution? – The first episode features California as a world leader in emissions standards. Following that, the role of coal and nuclear power in the world’s future energy mix is debated.
