SU Hosts Japanese Dinner Tuesday, November 8"

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---As part of its Year of Languages Fall Cultural Events Series, Salisbury University Dining Services presents a Japanese dinner 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, in the Bistro of the Commons.

class=""MsoNormal"">The menu includes teriyaki beef soup, pot-stickers, Japanese style fried chicken, teriyaki salmon, Asian marinated pork loin, ginger sweet potatoes and five-spice apples, lemon basmati rice, pasta with shiso pesto, roasted asparagus with lime ponzu sauce, grilled eggplant with miso sauce, seaweed and cucumber salad, coconut-mango rice pudding, east-west spice cake with candied ginger and cardamom cream, and an assortment of Japanese breads and sweets. Sponsored by Dining Services and the Office of Cultural Affairs, the cost is $8.95 plus tax for adults, $5.50 plus tax for children ages 6 to 12. Children under five dine free.
